Notes:
I swam to this street end park by entering the water on the southern edge of Martha Washington Park where I surprised a large fish (>60cm) as I set out. South Willow Public Shore from the water is a beautiful, secluded, shaded, and peaceful spot with a couple of benches for contemplation. When I swam in to shore I was greeted by a soft sandy bottom covered in some places by anti-milfoil mats (no milfoil!). Once again, the park is surrounded by boats and docks. |
