Notes:
From the shoreline appearance, it looks like South Atlantic can only be approached from the water side. It appears to be rarely visited and a sign warns agains swimming and fishing during storm events as there is a storm sewer outfall here. I'm guessing that this is untrue today as there has been a major project in this area to upgrade the storm sewers to retain overflow and not release it into the lake. The water up to the shore was sufficiently shallow for me to stand at mid-chest depth to take pictures. I did avail myself of a submerged rock to stand just a bit higher, though.
