Notes:
On the same day that we visited Juanita Beach Park we visited O.O. Denny Park, on Holmes Point. This was a very different experience, with a very secluded feel. The park has lots of trees, many of them quite large, restrooms, picnic shelters, and water access along much of its 400m length. We entered the water at a small, rocky beach near the south parking area and swam south toward Champaign Point. A swim north looked equally inviting. Well worth a visit.
