Notes:
A medium-sized and very popular park. On warm days, the beach and adjoining grassy area has lots of visitors. Mt. Baker is also the northern terminus of a long (~2.5km) strip of park-like land that provides water access to the citizens of Seattle. And now, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the adjacent boulevard is closed to cars and open only to pedestrians and cyclists. A fine way to get outdoors and socially distance. The park itself has a smallish parking lot, restrooms, a changing area, and a large dock for entrance and exit from the deeper water. During the summer season when the beach has lifeguards there is a roped off shallow area for children and non-swimmers.
