Notes:
Kennydale Beach is a Renton city park on the eastern shore of Lake Washington. It has a large sandy beach and stairs that lead down to the water. The swim area is set off by a log boom and is about 50 meters long, parallelling the shore. Entering the water is easy because the bottom is comfy rocks on hard-packed sand. Beach amenities include a children's play area, 2 covered (shaded) picnic tables, restrooms, and a nice big dock with a ladder to get in and out of the water. Parking, however, is a challenge. There are only a few close by and legal parking spots on Lake Washington Boulevard (just above the park) so you may need to leave your car in the neighborhood if it's a busy day at the park.
